COWBOY OPEN!!

Landon Once again had an amazing victory this last weekend! We took a very long bus ride to Laramie,Wy. Landon threatened the guys with their lives when we got on something about wrestlers don't where clothing on buses:) and of course their dirty mouths. They were great! I was actually way suprised. We stayed in the Hilton which was very nice. Landon's tournament began at 9 o'clock in the morning. We thought from what it sounded like over the annoucing stand Landon wouldn't have to wait to long to wrestle, but boy oh boy I was wrong! We waited and waited and waited. Landon's first match wasn't untill 2 p.m. in the after noon! Yeah it was a way long day. His first match was against a kid from University of Northern Colorado this one didn't last long. Landon pinned the kid in the first round, he picked him up and threw him clear over his head. Second match was against a kid unattached and Landon beat him 4 to 0 the match was pretty boring it consisted of Landon on top the whole time smashing the kid who was way smaller then Landon. Third match Semi- Finals Landon scared us to death! The kid took Landon down right off the bat we were all pretty much freaking out but of course Landon pulled it together and pinned him in the second round! Fourth and finals for the Championship Landon wrestled a kid from New Mexico. It was an intense match also they didn't score on each other for quite a while. Landon ended up winning 2-0 but it was a complete one sided match Landon rode the kid the whole entire match. The kid should of got a stalling call, but never did. Landon recieved a metal that I wore all night :) Landon has a dual tournament in Powell Thursday night against Western Wy College we're not to worried though Landon wrestled elite in the Cowboy Open. Western Wy kid wrestled in ameture and wasn't very good at all! We'll be traveling down to Greeley on Saturday with a tournament Sunday! New news also we recieved a calling! We get to teach in the primary class CTR5 We are so excited and the kids are so amazing we love them to death!
